Customer Results
Oakberry, the açai bowl franchise was opening a new location in Kitsilano, and wanted to generate awareness to a local demographic that was younger and health-conscious with content that would reach and engage them.
Oakberry invited local Kitsilano health & fitness influencers on their opening day and asked them to create videos showcasing Oakberry’s healthy açai bowls, and post it to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, in hopes their Kitsilano audience would engage them.
Oakberry generated over 1 million impressions, sold over 1,000 bowls on the first day (the most in Oakberry history), and smashed their sales target of $45,000 in their first month with $130,000.
Here’s the thing, it wasn’t Oakberry saying our açai bowls were great. It was customers telling other customers our bowls were great. That’s the power of local influencer marketing, it’s 100% authentic—and gets way higher results than any form of marketing we’ve used.”
Owner, Tracy Hall was looking for a way to generate positive customer perceptions around her business that has been diminishing due to the socioeconomic circumstances of the store’s location.
Creatorade selected a homegrown Kenoran influencer the community loves and trusts to create a fun and feel-good campaign that offered 3 lucky customers free groceries during the holiday season. The ads were filmed in-store, showcasing the employees and customers sharing upbeat and sincere interactions with the influencer.
The campaign generated over 55,000 video views, 28,000 likes, 1,100 shares, and 1,150 contest entries, and 3 happy winners. Tracy says the positive buzz around her store is palpable and has experienced a noticeable uptick in revenue since the campaign.
As a business owner, I need to find ways to communicate my business in a positive light. I’m not sure there’s a better way to do that than telling the story on camera and sharing it across social media where people will see it and engage with it.”
Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits, a distributor of Whispering Angel Rosé in Southern Ontario was struggling to get sales traction with the rosé brand with traditional marketing strategies. They needed a solution that would target the brand’s core audience of “lifestyle” women between the ages of 22-55.
Creatorade provided local influencer marketing that targeted their core audience on social media in affluent communities in Southern Ontario. The influencer used one of her creative, fan-favourite recipes featuring Whispering Angel Rosé with a call to action that drove followers to a Whispering Angel ecommerce site.
The campaign reached 40,932 people, who viewed, liked, commented, and shared the influencer’s post. Whipsering Angel Rosé saw 10% lift in sales measured by the revenue generated from the ecommerce page.
We needed to update our marketing and be on the channels where our audience frequents. Local influencer marketing facilitated that in a very scientific way. They targeted our exact persona with the content from social media personalities they already loved, and tracked everything from click to sale.”
